Our Facilities

Our behind the scenes work is what we feel makes ours the best practice in our community.

For example, our hospital includes modern surgical facilities with state-of-the-art anesthetic techniques and equipment, constant patient monitoring, and the performance of a wide variety of orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries, and dental procedures. After surgery, each of our patients is placed in our intensive care area, where they are continually observed during their anesthetic recovery.

In addition, our "in-house" laboratory allows us to quickly perform blood, urine, and parasite testing.. When necessary, we use university and veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics.

Other important diagnostic testing that we frequently employ includes: x-ray, ultrasonic imaging, electrocardiography, echocardiography, and echo-guided biopsies.

We frequently use the services of outside specialists including regular visits by surgeons, radiologists, and ultrasonographers.

We also consult and refer difficult cases to local specialty practices and the Veterinary College at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins. Critical care cases are transferred to critical care centers in Denver.

We have a roomy, quiet private parking lot safely located behind the hospital away from the street, our spacious manicured grounds are a perfect place for you to walk your pet or for your children to play.
