Donald
B. Pfretzschner, DVM
Dr. Don Pfretzschner is a third generation Denver Native. He attended
the Colorado School of Mines and Colorado State University, receiving
his doctor of veterinary medicine in 1976. He has practiced in the Westminster/Broomfield
area for more than 20 years. His interests include dermatology, ophthalmology,
and surgery. His other interests are a wide variety of outdoor activities
and wood and metal crafts. While growing up, participated in 4H raising
rabbits, chickens, and calf fattening.
James Ziegler,
DVM
Dr. James Ziegler is a 1999 graduate of Colorado State University. Upon
graduation he performed a 1 year internship at Wheatridge Animal Hospital,
followed by a year working at Aspen Animal Hospital in Aspen, Colorado,
a year working at Wheatridge Animal Hospital as a staff veterinarian,
and since then has been here at Arrowhead Animal Hospital, P.C. Dr. Ziegler
has a professional interest in orthopedics, trauma and general surgery.
His personal hobbies encompass anything dealing with the outdoors.
Kristin Hrenchir, DVM
Dr. Kristin Hrenchir is a 2004 graduate of Colorado
State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation,
she practiced in Annapolis, Maryland at a 15-doctor small animal
hospital for two years, and enjoyed living and sightseeing on the East
Coast. She and her husband were able to move home to Colorado in July,
2006, when she joined our staff at Arrowhead. Dr. Hrenchir grew up in
Colorado Springs, and has lived all along the northern front range. She
attended the University of Northern Colorado, majored in Chemistry and
worked as a chemist for several years before returning to vet school.
Her professional interests include general internal medicine and
surgery, dentistry, and dermatology. Outside of work, Dr. Hrenchir
enjoys travel, hiking in the mountains, cooking, and is an avid reader.
She and her husband Paul reside in Longmont, with their whippet Elwood
and two cats, Rio and Gypsy.
David
Beadleston, DVM, DACVD (Board Certified Dermatologist)
Dr. Dave Beadleston is a 1985 graduate of University of
California-Davis. In 1986 he completed an internship at Colorado
State University in small animal medicine & surgery. After 8
years in general practice Dr. Beadleston found he had a strong
interest in dermatology and went on to complete a 2 year
Dermatology Residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.
He became Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary
Dermatology in 1997.
His other interests are gardening & cooking. He & his
wife live in Longmont with their 2 young children, 2 cats, dog,
and rabbit. Dave has been at Arrowhead Animal Hospital, P.C.
since 1998.
